Abstract

This research was funded by NHS Greater Manchester. The funders commissioned a mixed methods social research project with the objective of understanding the factors that impact on alcohol use among young people in Greater Manchester (GM). The study deployed three data collection approaches to explore attitudes and behaviours of young people in Greater Manchester towards alcohol and other substances and explore the barriers and facilitators of positive behaviour change and access to treatment and support
