    About the Repository


    e-space is Manchester Metropolitan University’s research repository. It provides a permanent record of the intellectual outputs of the University, and where possible, makes a full text of the publication freely available to download. e-space is managed by the Library Service.

    Content

    You can search for all output types including articles, book chapters, conference items, reports, artwork, exhibitions, research data, and other research related outputs.

    e-space also contains the University’s PhD and Research Masters theses and is linked to the British Library’s online thesis service, EThOS.

    Searching the repository

    You can search the full-text publications in the repository using the search bar at the top or you can search by keyword or author using the advanced search.

    Depositing

    To make your research output available in e-space, log in to your Symplectic account and deposit your publication(s). To make your research data available in e-space complete the deposit form.

    Copyright

    If you are concerned about a breach of copyright or have a legitimate reason to request the removal of a record’s full text, please refer to our take down procedure.

    Software

    e-space conforms with the Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting for open archive interoperability, and is searchable by Google, Google Scholar and the University’s Library Search.
