Abstract

This Excel spreadsheet contains historical Twitter data related to the death of Alan Kurdi, top 1,139 most widely-retweeted posts, covering the period 2-14 September, 2015. It is a component of the PhD thesis "Algorithmic iconography: Intersections between iconography and social media image research".
