Abstract
We study bistable neurons and neuromodules and show that the dynamics are dependent upon the history of the system. A feedback mechanism is incorporated to generate bifurcation diagrams. The results from a linear stability analysis can be shown to match with the iterative techniques. Synaptic weights, biases and gradients of transfer functions are varied. The work can be applied to artificial neural networks and developing brains.
