    Abstract

Research is very difficult without participants, and some of the most interesting groups are those hardest to reach. In this workshop you will hear from two researchers who encountered difficulties in recruiting from their target populations, and some of the strategies they employed to overcome these. The workshop will also offer a forum for you to share your own experiences, contribute your ideas and seek advice on potential approaches to engaging participants in your own research.
