    Abstract

    This guide focuses on how practitioners can market and brand their places effectively. It provides thorough definitions of both place marketing and place branding. It considers what factors need to be considered to successfully brand and market a place. It argues that there needs to an understanding of the locality and provides ten key principles of branding.
