    Abstract

This chapter undertakes a queer judgment re-writing of R v Green, an Australian (New South Wales) case involving lethal homophobic violence and the provocation defence. Using disgust as a critical judicial lens, I present a queer dissenting judgment to parse institutional homophobia and individual criminal responsibility.
