Abstract

The ENERGETIC project set out to look at whether the use of accelerators would give significant energy savings compared to CPU-only computations, and to determine which classes of codes should run on heterogeneous architectures. Furthermore, the project would examine opportunities and challenges for measuring energy in a standardised, portable manner irrespective of architectural platform.
