Abstract

This report has been prepared following an online workshop for key local stakeholders in Watford on 16th April 2021. Facilitated by the Institute of Place Management at the invitation of Watford Borough Council, the event formed part of the journey Watford is undertaking to revitalise the town centre in terms of post-pandemic recovery and long-term viability. Led Dr Steve Millington, a Director of the Institute and supported by Tom Hindmarch (Membership coordinator) and Joe Barratt (Junior Fellow), the workshop engaged 25 local stakeholders representing a variety of different bodies and interests in Watford in thinking about the future development of the town centre.
