Abstract

A commentary discussing the obstacles facing the use of digital interventions to support mental health service provision. The commentary draws upon the importance of considering both implementation science and satisfaction of inherent psychological needs (Self Determination Theory; Deci & Ryan, 1985). The commentary discusses the important role of a blended approach to providing mental health services.
